I usually buy from this store everyday (over one and a half years) but now I am beginning to rethink that. The products are reasonably priced however the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. After I finished purchasing my groceries the cashier informed me that there was a policy whereby everyone who uses the trolley out of the supermarket into the building would have to provide a 50AED deposit which would be refunded once the trolley is returned. I found this strange but I thought this was a policy for everyone. This is not the case. Apparently my neighbour was not even asked for a deposit. Now I am beginning to wonder if I was targeted and if so for what reason? The cashier did not even have a valid reason when I confronted him.

Its a good store cause the prices r fair, they sell different brands from Europe unlike only certain brands that all the other stores sell. But the problem is a lot of times they either charge u more than what they wrote on the price tag or on some promotional items instead of charging the items as a bundle they charge those items separately and make it more expensive.

Earlier I thought VIVA was a very good store which keeps offering discounts on their products, but today I found something very strange trick behind their discounts they’ve a unique way to make customer fool.

Yesterday when I visited their Arjan Branch I saw 125g Salted Roasted Peanuts, 2 for 5 AED, (it was clearly written 2 for 5). I picked 2 tins boxes then I roamed around in the shop for 10/15 minutes & picked couple of other things then waited on counter maybe around 5 minute, later I made the payment of all stuff together, obviously didn’t notice how much they had charged for each item. Today when I was throwing the bill luckily had a look at it and found out that they had changed me 3.95 AED for each peanut tin instead of 5 for 2. I just went the shop again to check that why did they charge extra amount instead of the discounted price?

When I spoke to their Manager I learnt a very strange thing, he told me we keep changing our prices when receive email from our office for a new price, so according to his statement maybe when I picked it, it was 2 for 5 AED but when I reached to the counter after 10/15 minutes the price might have changed….

What is this, is it possible?? any person in retail business can please explain it to me I am unable to understand, they don’t even inform the customer & change the price in 10 minutes.

This is not a matter of 3 or 4 dirhams this is a matter of Ethics & Client service, VIVA should find a better way to increase & decrease item prices.

This store is such a freaking mess that they don't even have enough employees to give a customer proper service. Their rules and regulations are so messed up that one sales person is doing all the work of online services when other employees are taking days off.
I have very unpleasant experience in this store. I hope they will improve the service for not only customers but to their employees too. Very bad attitude toward employees.

promoter of hayatna product. i couldn't see any other brand in chiller....No almarai,No al ain, No Al rawabi......whenever i ask them they said its just finished....????
