Amazing views, amazing hosts, and great company with the animals (horses, ducks, chickens, and dogs) about the place. The Ecopod was fantastically comfortable and was great for a quiet, solo retreat away from the city. Location is close drive to amazing areas in Cairngorms and Speyside, but you can hike to beautiful sites, as well.

Would definitely recommend. Will be staying again!

An amazing reasonable price ecopod just off the glentrium caravan site. It’s located strategically to either visit glencoe or Inverness or cairngorms.
The pod has exceptional facilities from a camp perspective. The hosts are simply amazing and helpful all the time. The kitchen utensils are fully loaded which one cannot imagine at a home. It’s basically a home away from home.
The pod wonderfully clean, shining and appears as if newly built though it’s already quite a good many years old now.
Recommended for couples or friends !!

Loved our time staying at Glentruim B&B, fantastic hosts with a delicious breakfast and coffee, superb location to visit the Cairngorms national park, red squirrels in the garden and a packed bird feeder, loved meeting Fergus the dog, would recommend highly. Chris & Vikki, Stoke on Trent.

We stayed for a couple of nights and loved it. Robert and Maria, the hosts, were so welcoming. The room was really nice, very peaceful location.

Location was definitely in the country, but it was wonderful to experience that. It was very peaceful, gorgeous setting. The home was beautiful and the room was very comfortable. Robert and Maria did a perfect job of making us feel welcome and comfortable while still allowing us flexibility and space to relax. We only stayed one night, and it made a perfect stopping point for us on our roadtrip, but I would have loved to stay a few nights for exploring/trekking in the area. Breakfast was simple and delish (Maria was kind enough to provide a recipe, we'll see if we can do it justice), and coffee was superb. We didn't use the kitchen outside of that (chose to dine in Newtonmore instead) but we did spend a bit of time in the sun room for a late evening cocktail after our adventures, and it was a great room to enjoy the evening.

Was staying away for work and had a few days in the highlands to spare before my trip home.
I found this place as it was closest to Laggan Wolftrax a local mountain bike trail centre. I was in contact with Robert and Maria and they had space for me to safely leave my mountain bike and offered me their hose to wash it if needed and even offered drying facilities for any clothes that might be wet. There house is in a lovely location and they really did make me feel at home. I was able to cook my dinner using their kitchen and was told I could use one of the many lounge areas around the house if needed. The bed was very comfortable and warm and the TV in the room had all the entertainment you needed including Netflix and Amazon prime. The breakfast in the morning was also superb with fresh home made muffins and over night oats cereal, and even eggs from their own chickens, everything you could need to set you up for the day. I ended up staying another night I enjoyed it so much, and even though I had to leave early the next day Robert and Maria made sure there was some breakfast out for me.
I would definitely recommend their lovely lodge with loads of character. I have already said I will be staying again and cant wait for my next trip to Scotland.

Perfect place to stay in an ideal location. The hosts were very welcoming, and hopefully I will be back soon.
