We booked our day hire via the website which was really easy to do. My husband phoned them for advice regarding how long to hire the boat for and the person who answered the call was friendly and helpful. We chose this boat hire because they are DOG FRIENDLY and allow well behaved dogs onboard their boats.

When we arrived we were greeted by a smile and a very informative young lady showed us everything we needed to know to get started on the river. She provided us with a clear map giving timings for getting back at the end of the day.

We hired a boat with a WC and a gas hob, a bottle of water, kettle, cups, plates etc were all provided. There were several free moorings along the river, some with pubs and cafes nearby, we managed to buy a whippy ice-cream in one of the villages on the route.

We really enjoyed our day on the river, the boat was very easy to control after an initial couple of minutes of getting used to it. We saw lots of wildlife, heron, marsh harriers, kingfisher, grebe, swans, geese and ducks. The scenery was picturesque, we saw some stunning riverside properties as well as iconic Norfolk broads windmills!

If you go to the broads there are many companies like this to rent a day boat. Costs are £30/hr to £160/ a day.
You can take your chances.
I spent 4 hours in a motor launch going up to the Rising sun and back again.
We stopped for every duck, swan or goose. We did bridge broad as well. A lovely afternoon.

The boat was clean, tidy and worked well. The briefing was concise and worthwhile.
We have nice small lifejackets.

The team at the wharf or dock were friendly and knowledgeable. We went north for wildlife as south was more pubs and stuff. A great day out, but I think everyone on the Broads had a good day.

I recommend this company, but you may find a better one, I will use them again and not even bother to look elsewhere if that means anything.

I saw a kingfisher which made my day.

Lovely staff( Peter really helped with few concerns) hired out a picnic boat for 6. Grandparents parents and two grandchildren. Inside, kettle small fridge and crockery. Also toilet. Nice and clean, easy to operate after initial instructions. Would highly recommend ????. Stopped on route ( 8 hour full day rental) to do some fishing. Great day out.

Friendly staff, affordable hourly rate,boats are clean and well maintained. A great experience for the family amd relaxing.

Nice guys who squeezed us in at the last minute.
The boats were well kept, and all the safety briefing, equipment etc explained and given well.
We were a couple of mins late returning the boat, and nothing was said, just a friendly welcome.
It's also dog friendly!

Booked a half day picnic boat so we could enjoy breakfast on the broads. Could have definitely gone for a full day as our exploring was limited to 2 hours either way. Reasonably priced, staff were really helpful. Would recommend

I would highly recommend it if you want to chill out on a beautiful broad in norfolk. You can go in big or small boats but you still get the same experience.

Fantastic experience. We didn't book in advance but as its early in the season we still managed to have a boat for 6 hours. The chap was lovely on the phone. Explanation was in depth but useful. Gave us some ideas on how far to go to make sure we were back in time. Will definitely use again.
