GORGEOUS nature walk. Thank you to Graham at the front reception area for helping us as we had never been here before. He was super helpful and answered all our queries. Really lovely quiet place to enjoy nature. The cows are my highlight!

A fantastic little golden nugget. This RSPB reserve is tucked away in the pretty village of Strumpshaw but I can't recommend it enough. The staff were extremely friendly and very knowledgeable on what you might see on your visit. The paths are for the most part flat ( a little bumpy in places) and there are plenty of benches to stop and take in your surroundings.
Pond dipping is a must for the children.
Welly boots would be a must for wet weather.

Such a great find. Very friendly and helpful staff. Joining up to the RSPB while I was there. Lovely walks, lots to do and see. Just a short drive from Norwich.

What a wonderful place. Saw two Bittern as well as a Hobby for the first time. Then to cap off the day a Swallowtail butterfly.
It's really pot luck what you get to see - great little walk as well.

Great place to spend a few hours looking at nature. Many families were there for an Easter egg hunt. The longer trail was nice and very interesting, apart from birds we also found a deer and plenty of peace and quiet ☺️
The members of staff were really nice and approachable ( specially Robin who we had a very long chat with).
They had a nice coffee for sale and the toilets were very well kept. There are two car parks and they also have a seating area at the beginning where you can have some food at the tables.

Awesome time and lots of great fun things to do with the kid's. Really lovely walks dyke dipping, bird spotting, nature trails and fun facts are a small part of the trip.

Will certainly come back as only 5min away from home which is a great bonus

A really lovely way to spend a morning or afternoon.

The wildlife is thriving, the variety of birds is vast.

Plenty of space for everyone, although it wasn't busy when we went.

Carpark is free, and with disabled spaces. The paths are not paved, so could be a challenge for some, and wheelchair users may not be able to go on the grassy paths.

The hides are all up steps, and one is called the "tower" hide for a reason.

The longer route takes you over the railway line ... Twice. The second time there is a style, so may not be suitable for everyone.

Plenty of places to take pictures. A bird lovers delight.

You do have to pay to enter, but the money goes to a good cause.

Worth a visit.
