Zayt Zaytoon is a little gem in the middle of Al Barsha 1. I've been passing by many times and finally decided to try - and now I'm annoyed with myself that I didn't go earlier... We had grilled haloumi, a cold kind of moussaka with eggplants, chickpeas and tomatoes, fatoush, the mixed grills and the lamb chops, all being really good, but the latter outstanding. The outdoor area is quite purist, but because it's nestled in a passage, surrounded by some bushes, there's actually quite an atmosphere. And if you're lucky, a friend of the chef passes by and plays guitar.

I have a passion for discovering the new places that add new food combinations to the concept of new hospitality that makes you unrepentant for a new dining experience.

I chose the experience of the restaurant and its variety. I asked for the daily dish and I had beans with tomatoes and rice and a dish of choice for the chef. The manager "Miss Abeer" of the restaurant adviced to experience kofta with veg ...
It was a really pleasant experience, the food is delicious and the hospitality is all gracious and welcoming. They asked me about my experience with all the attention if I had any feedback about the food or the place and I was happy for their confidence and inquiry and here I give them five stars with pleasure..

I wish them success and prosperity and I will repeat the experience and advise everyone to taste their food And enjoy the wide range of the original Lebanese cusine.. and to hope to see the expantion of their place which reakky desrve a bigger space and this is the only thing they need to be on the lists of visits and confidence and this phone number placed within the reach of residents and visitors of Dubai

I went there yesterday morning and we were greeted courteously. The indoor seating is limited but they have a covered outdoor area with tv and coolers. The indoor area is compact but with comfortable seating. The only drawback was the large number of flies.

I tried their Zaatar Manakeesh that was served fresh from the oven. It was warm and paired with a vegetable salad. Loved the lemoney zaatar flavour. Unlike most manakeeshs, it wasn’t thick. Also tried their Turkish Coffee. It was refreshing and worth it.

Thier lentil soup is one of the best I ever had but that’s about where all the good things end about this place. Their sheesh tawook tasted fine but the shawarma was awful, it was just Arabic bread wrapped with stale fries and bits of chicken ! The fries tasted stale and so did the Pickles tasted off completely. Dine in isn’t recommended as seating is just outside the restaurant. Funny enough the sandwiches came wrapped in the same table place cards which were on the table ! Takeaway / delivery is fine but they should seriously considering improving the taste of the food.

Very nice food and service. We came here multipe times for breakfast and dinner. The chicken shawarma sandwich was amazing, pretty big and very cheap! (~3 euros). For a meal option I recommend the shish taouk (chicken souvlaki) which is marinated in a great way that differs it from the greek suvlaki we know. We also ordered the mix grill plate that had different kebabs and taouk. Everything was tasty and they also brought us different appetizers (hummus, garlic sauce etc). For breakfast we ordered omlettes which were nice. We also ordered chicken and lamb shawarma which were again super tasty and the traditional Lebanese Labneh Baladi (it is a white sauce that i haven't figured out its contents).
The place is inside and out air conditioned, it shows football matches and it gives you a traditional vibe. I rexommend you sitting at the outside air-conditioned area.

Had cheese and zaatar manakesh and for 15 dhs it has great quantity and the taste of zaatar was really amazing. For Lebanese food this place is affordable with good quality of food
