Absolutely great place to park for some fabulous walks and bike rides and it's free.
Unfortunately there are a few people who think it's ok to take tissue out of their car to clean their shoes or bikes and leave the mess on the ground, for goodness sake take it home.
And while walking through the woods and surrounding countryside we came across so many dog poo bags just left on the ground and even some hanging in trees, I have to ask myself why do so many dog owners do it? It makes the beautiful countryside look such a mess. Shame on the few who do leave the mess.

Brilliant walk on Sunday, wanted to go round the gruffalo trail but it was very busy at lunchtime when we arrived and the car park was full, plenty of other car parks around though with space! Really nice day and place

A very useful free car park with some large ish holes and without toilets, but very handy placed for walking around Cannock Chase following a Komoot App hiking route. All round good if you take care to avoid the bumpy bits of the car park.

Decent sized free car park not too far from the visitor centres. Gets very busy on weekends though. So ignore this review and don't go when I am. OK?
