It is a quite place but still holds nice history told by the guard. nice mountains view and a view to the Etihad rail . The fortress has been renovated around 20 years ago. We were astonished by the greenery nearby. Worth visiting if you are on a cultural route.

This fort is a must visit place to reach that area a bit difficult but worth it. No ticket needed, well maintained Fort.

Bithnah Fort was built between 1745-1800. It's a traditional double story rock and mud-brick fortification located in the Wadi Ham, near the village of Bithnah in Fujairah, UAE. The fort has an impressive history. It's worth visiting this heritage site.

Beautiful place to visit. Enjoyed the experience. Bumpy road to get there but well worth it.

An interesting fort to see how the UAE ancestors held their own, there are gun points, jail cells and it's maintained well by the UAE government. It has a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and greenery. The caretakers are friendly and polite. It is near a wildlife zone, so please recycle your waste and be mindful while there !

A true pride of this spot and authentic piece of history, hosted and built between the beautiful spread of farms and palm trees.

The architecture distinctively speaks the local theme and the purpose, to defend against invaders, which helped it to stood hard and hold the place in safe conditions since about 1735.

As of late, the Fort fort has become adjacent to a key section of UAE’s massive Rail Network, Etihad Rail, which will form part of the overall network that will connect UAE from within and externally with the GCC, Regional and International neighborhoods in the years to come.

In there, you will smell and witness history, with nice view and clean breath.

The watchman is helpful and he provided some guidance.

Very well maintained, compared to the historical sites in other Emirates. The caretaker will double-up as a tour guide. The campus is huge and well maintained. Overall, worthy a visit.

Al Bithnah Fort located 15 km west of Fujairah, it have been constructed by1745. The village around the Fort and the farms make the experience more enjoyable. You may climb the top side of the Fort which gives agnate views especial the new railway construction crossing the small village

Osney Island is a smashing place to live and I have been here since 2005.
About 280 households and a village like atmosphere.
It is not a bus station whatever Google may tell you!
