Alisha is the owner of this business and puts her heart and soul into her job. She adores dogs and does the best grooming. My dog gets nervous when she goes in and Alisha soon calms her and she comes away very happy. Would definitely recommend taking you dog here.

I am currently a student in Alicia’s dog grooming academy at the Paw Pad Parlour. I am having an amazing time on my course and I’m learning so much for Alicia everyday, her knowledge of grooming, handling and dog behaviour is impeccable. I have gained so much confidence in just 5 months. I would highly recommend bringing your dogs to Paw Pad Parlour, you can see Alicia loved and cares for the dogs and will always put the dogs needs first. I am so lucky to have her teaching me and sharing her knowledge and skills, if you are looking to work with dogs I would also highly recommend her academy! Thank you ????

Took our cat to Alicia to have her claws cut as they got really long. We contacted Alicia and she said to bring her right in and did them straight away. So quick and proffessianal, highly recommend her.

Alicia at Paw Pad Parlour and academy is honestly amazing and I’m so lucky to have met her and have the chance to work with her! As a groomer, she has so much care for the dogs and takes any opportunity to advance her knowledge with seminars etc to create the best grooms. As a teacher, she is so passionate about sharing her knowledge with us and is very patient. She gave me a chance when nobody else would and I am so grateful. Definitely recommend :)

My girls (golden retrievers) go to the Paw Pad Parlour regularly and have only had positive experiences there.

They look and smell amazing every time I pick them up. Alicia pays great attention to detail with her grooming and takes excellent care of the animals that walks into her salon.

She uses high quality, natural, ethically sourced shampoos and products on the animals.

I myself am a degree level qualified dog behaviourist, working across North Devon to improve behavioural and physical welfare for dogs; and wouldn't send my animals to anyone I haven't had the pleasure of 'interviewing' for the experience of grooming my dogs.

Over time, Alicia and I have developed a wonderful trust and work together to further develop Alicia's understanding of dog behaviour. Working particular with nervous and reactive dogs. This is greatly beneficial as it results in less dogs having to be medicated or referred to the vet for routine grooming. It also helps to educate dog owners in how important it is for an animal to feel relaxed at the groomers.

Alicia also runs a professional dog grooming course with a small teacher to student ratio and I've had the joy of meeting a handful of her students. All of which are meeting excellent industry standards and finish the course feeling prepared enough to start their own grooming business.

Five stars from me.

I highly recommend this place! I first met Alicia after going through all the local groomers and never being satisfied! Alicia was so professional and practised creative grooming on my dear Bella! She always made Bella feel special until the very end, Alicia did Bellas last groom before she left for rainbow Bridge, she was so gentle and calming and went above and beyond to make us both comfortable, Bella left for rainbow Bridge sporting a rainbow moheakin, Alicia took her time and stayed past closing to ensure Bella had the most amazing experience before she left earth, This helped both me and my children come to terms with Bellas last journey, even after Bella had passed Alicia sent me locks of Bellas hair in a key chain which I would never of thought of to do and a card, this brought so much comfort in such a sad time! She's not only a groomer but she becomes a friend to both you and your dog! I only wish we could have more Alicia's! Thankyou for EVERYTHING you have done!

Jessica is a great groomer. Was my pups first groom, I left him worried he wouldn't relax and let her work on him. But he wasn't stressed or distressed when I arrived to collect him. Plus he looked incredible. Definitely recommend The Paw Pad Parlour!

Alicia has been amazing with our cats!????u200d⬛ She does regular baths and desheds for our exotic shorthair and he's very happy and comfy at Paw Pad Parlour, always comes back beautifully soft and shiny, and much less hairy! ????
