We have visited this campsite for 2 years running during May bank holiday. It is a lovely campsite consisting with upper pitches with nice views over the Loch and lower pitches - right at the Loch itself. Beautiful views around and lovely location overall. Both times we had a pitch at a lower level. Since it is so convenient and would only make sense - we take a wee inflatable boat with us and take kids out on it during the day and it definitely adds to the camping experience. The campsite has a 1 toilet/ shower for the lower level pitches and the block is always clean and well looked after (not sure what they have on the upper level) but the lower block gets a bit crowed in the morning. Apart from that - the campsite is wonderful , it has a fire pit per pitch too ( we took our own fire stove). We would definitely like to visit again. There is also a pub nearby ( a walking distance away from the campsite) and it serves nice food. And I think they also have a burger van coming now and again nearby the campsite. Not sure what the food tastes like, we were too late the time when walked around to order something. The campsite is definitely worth a visit.

A lovely little campsite! We were up at the top section of pitches and had a fantastic view of the water. There was a very nice little shower and toilet block. Downside is there’s only one shower (with toilet) and one toilet stall so it can get a bit backed up. But overall it was a lovely stay, and the owner was so kind and accommodating as we booked in last minute.

Consider this the overall review summary (as of June 2023). We had a self sufficient Motorhome and thus did not care about toilets and shower facilities. That taken into account, this place was lovely! We had the pleasure of chatting with Ian, a lovely old man who has been here his entire life and even shared stories of events passed☺️. Even pitch, with both electricity and water hookup, which makes it just that bit sweeter. Front row on the Loch, with more than respectable space between you and your neighbour! The best part was being able to book this in advance, knowing that you had front row seats to a great view! We lost one star, due to the proximity to the road, my recommendation to the owners is to simply put up some vegetation/shrubbery between campsite and road. It will make a difference and feel cozy!

Oh and they provided wood and fire pit upon arrival! Lovely to burn into the night!

Best camping spot in Scotland we've been to in our three week trip! Reasonable prices (£20-£30) for full electric and water hookups. Toilets, shower, and laundry are small but clean and very nice. Check in and out is a breeze too, as he puts a little reserve sign with your name on it. Easy to check in last minute as well, assuming there is space.

It's also a 3 minute walking distance from the Creagan Inn (just a restaurant and bar), with great food and drinks.

The man running the place is incredibly kind and patient. He is tucked away in the middle of the two site areas!

Past this site a few years ago so decided to book this year shouldn't have waited so long before coming back to scotland caravan pitches overlooking the loch ehu+water ????/???? very tidy site also wee chippy van fri/sat will definitely be back.

Stayed 1 night 05/23 in campervan on upper level views over Loch were lovely only 1 toilet and 1 shower room with toilet but lovely and warm and very clean dog friendly pub 5 min walk would highly recommend

Stunning location. Disappointed the shower at the top site was out of order, there was no hot water and the ladies toilet light did not work. Tried to phone and email but got no answer. A Stunning sight let down by facilities

Amazing

Great size pitches,great view,easy access, local info/phone numbers board on each pitch,firepit and picnic bench per pitch,no extra charge for dog and awning
