If you will decide to go to the Isle of Wight by Red Funnel - you will never regret it! Everything is greatly organised by the crew for all passengers on the board - parking space for your car on the board, restaurants and cafes, wonderful views of Southampton and Southampton water with her an amazing emerald colour, if you will especially lucky - you can meet the huge cruise ship during your travel!)) Just keep in mind that it is quite windy on the deck, so take on the board some warm blanket - and enjoy 50 minutes of the travel)))

We didn't have to wait very long to board. They were very organised getting people on. The journey it self was very nice the on board shops has a grate selection.

Only thing I'd advise the steps to get to the different decks are extremely steep so if you have little one or da disability you may find then tricky the do have a lift that hole 4 people at a time

Would definitely travel with them again

I booked red funnel tickets online.Very easy to follow instructions and have to give car details if you planned your journey through car. At Southampton red funnel booking reference they guided us where to wait for boarding. There are enough toilets at the red Funnel office and reception for any queries. Well organised system,we parked as per staff instructions. Once parked, the car can go into the ferry. So comfortable indoor and outdoor views. Have a cafe and bar. Totally I am so pleased we booked our isle of wright tickets on though red funnel. It's cost effective also compared to other ferry services.

Good ferry service. Breakfast service seems disorganised with supply not meeting demand quite often. Veggie sausages were being offered in lieu of meat which can be frustrating if that's not what you wanted.

Quick ferry to isle of wight and back. The boarding to the ferry was nicely organized. Based on the car number, it was quickly validated and allowed entry. You will be asked to park on a number and will be boarded number by number. During the ferry journey, you wont be able to sit or access the vehicle area. Inside ferry there was a good restaurant for quick snack/dinner. Toilet was also maintained clean!

First class service from boarding to driving off. The price was a bit more than I wanted to spend, but unfortunately I had already booked my holiday and it added another £176 to the cost, this alone has killed it for me ever going back to the Isle of white. I looked again for October and again it is nearly £200, not a budget holiday in my eyes.

Very efficient, helpful and informative, got me on an earlier ferry when I enquired as I got there earlier than expected.

Kept informed on the return two hours in advance that there may be a delay.

The food onboard is surprisingly good, the fries were so nice I didn't buy any when on the island, waited for the return to treat myself.

Staff were efficient and polite. Tickets and parking were sorted fast. Enjoyed most of the trip outside aft, sheltered from the wind. Glad the sun was out and enjoyed the views.
