Just had 5 nights here with my wife on a touring pitch and my daughter, husband and son were in a safari tent. We all had a great time. The site is kept spot on and toilets immaculate, with regular checks and cleaning through each day. Danny the manager was very approachable and helpful, he does a great job keeping the site in such good order.

Great wee site and so well laid out. It all looks relatively new with great spacious pitches which are not on top of one another. Toilet block is spotlessly clean and good showers 7off. Very few easy check in and a good information leaflet supplied on arrival. You will however need to use your leveling ramps on some of the pitches but it's not much and I'm just being fussy. Will most definitely come back and only found this by sheer chance as all other sites were full in this area.

I've been here several times now, and I love it.
The lodges are great and well maintained, and the location at Tralee Bay is beautiful. The staff have always very helpful whenever we have needed them.
I would recommend Highfield to anyone.

Beautiful little campsite with motorhome pitches and glamping pods and safari tent for hire.
Toilets and shower block fantastic, also a pot washing stand.

Found this gem of a site in 2020 and stayed for 2 weeks with our caravan. Could not fault it or the staff on the site, so much so we returned in 2021, again for 2 weeks and again I can only praise the site and staff again. This year we returned and stayed for two and a half weeks and site did not fail to impress but the staff this year have been fabulous, going out of their way to help in any way. Highly recommend this site and we will definitely be back. Thanks and by the way the views are unbelievable xx

A must stay! !

Staff very friendly and helpful. Spotless tent. Lovely shower block and sheep as an alarm clock.

Myself and my two daughters stayed for 3 nights and we loved it.

This is a lovely clean site with friendly staff. It's very quiet and in a great location for oban and the local beach . Surrounded by sheep, rabbits, and horses.
Tent comes with a great hot tub which fits two comfortably and a cracking bbq. Great wee touches of blankets and hot water bottles mean you can use the outdoor space even when the weather is not in your favour .

I would recommend this site to anyone looking for a little bit of quiet ????

Had a 2 night stay in one of the ‘Highlander’ pods.
Perfect short break, The pod was perfect for the two of us, Beds were very comfy, Hot tub was perfect, I purchased the firewood package which was an extra £15 and there was more than enough for both nights.
If your staying at Highfield I would also recommend walking along to the next site and trying the chippy.
Would definetly stay again.

Great location. Best pod we've stayed in. Hot tub was a real bonus! Missing a few forks and towels when we arrived but we messaged the warden and they were brought around first thing in the morning with an apology. The site was immaculate, with just a short 5 min walk to the beach. The pink shop at the end of the road sells everything - its like the tardis. Lots of lovely dog walks within a 10 minute drive.
