After finding my regular site was closed, panic set in ... 7pm tent not pitched but it was light and dry, clock was ticking. Local man in tyndrum suggested this place as we had a stupidly large tent.

Really amazing facilities and area. Heated bathrooms and onsite shop with awesome shiz for sale. Lacking cigarettes tho ;p

Great find, will be using this place from now on. So don't go it's mine stay away lolx

The wigwam village was amazing. The staff were very kind and made plenty of time to have a chat (and seemed to with anyone that was staying or stopped in). The facilities were all kept in great condition, the cabin was comfortable and well-equipped, and the setting had great views!
The cabin was amazing. VERY spacious for two people and could have happily slept 4/5. Inclusion of a fridge, microwave, and kettle was great, and were able to wash our hiking clothes (there’s also a fully equipped kitchen).

Fantastic location just off the A82, spent 3 nights in my tent, loved it, will be back in the future.
Good selection of food in the shop, a warm kitchen and good facilities.
Klemy offered to bring down extra wood on his nightly check of the site to save us going back for more for our camp fire.

Very, very rude and unpleasant stuff.

After our plan to wild camp didn't work out we came to that camping around 7pm without pre-booking a place. I would have understood if the place wasn't available to book that late at night.

However near the main office there was a note "after 6pm, to book a place call a number...". So we called. The person on the other side on the line sounded annoyed, but said he was coming. He appeared from the nearby house and opened an office. After that he made a speech about how everywhere it is understaffed in Scotland and that we should have called him in advance. There was another couple there at the time, who also arrived late. We were completely unrelated to them. They were still outside when we entered the office.
Before processing our reservation, the camping manager ordered us (literally "go and do..." without even "could you please" form) to go and fetch them, and to tell them, that either they come in immediately, or he will return to his dinner, and if anyone calls him after that, "you might hear some unpleasant words".

Also, the shower is not free in this camping, you need to pay a pound for 8 minutes of use. (So if you don't have suitable coins, no shower for you)

The location is great though, with a wide mountain view. There are tables, benches and fire pits on the camping loan.

On Day 4 I had to stop walking the West Highland Way due to a bad blister and a loose toenail - annoying as it was, I was quite lucky that my journey ended at Strathfillan Wigwam Village. Not alone I received perfect first aid, but also all sorts of other help from Klemy and the campsite staff in terms of accommodation, medical consultation and many other advices. In addition, the campsite (and wigwams) has everything you need to stay a little longer than planned. A shop well stocked (ice cream!), adequate toilet facilities with really long hot showers, a fully equipped shared kitchen, very comfortable wigwams and a view to dream of!
I will finish walking the West Highland Way next year and I'm going to make sure to start it right here, spending my first night at Strathfillan Wigwam Village again. I’m looking forward to it!

Highlight for me when camping on the WHW. The staff were super nice, and one even cooked my pot noodle for me. The facilities were really good quality and clean, and the location on a working farm in the mountains was dreamy.

I absolutely love this place! Been going here for circa 15 years and it's always great! Don't be a d*** and have a fire n a good time it's absolutely class ????????

Great campsite. All facilities clean and looked after. Staff were very nice. Will definitely go back.
