Sensibly situated, but possibly lesser known given how it is accessed, this is an open air car park, more sizeable than it first appears (there are two parking areas that makeup this car park)

Popular with Campervans (and similar) whilst we were there in March, it also has Reserved Bays (which I’d guess are sold as ‘permit holder’ bays). One side doesn’t have lines indicating spaces, but the other side does

Be mindful that the gradient of the hill down into the Village from here might make it harder work with pushchairs/wheelchairs, etc, but it is only a short walk

Payment by cash, card and mobile app. Prices match with other local car parks, and seem reasonable

This is the best place to park for The Maritime Museum (which was being renovated when we visited Appledore)

Myself and a few volunteers are doing some guerilla gardening in this carpark and loving it. There were neglected flower beds around the perimeter which are now turned over and producing potatoes, 4 varieties of tomatoes, loads of herbs and wildflowers for the bees. We have a resident Robin, butterflies and bees all at home here now. Veg and herbs are being grown for the community ????
