Pretty decent site for an overnight stop, not a great deal around, nice long walk straight out of the site itself along a gravel road through forest, the site was dead quiet, I think some people use it to store their caravans out of season, there were like two other visitors from what I could tell, the showers while they do take 20ps seem to be jammed, and the showers were running hot water, so I don’t think you actually need to put money in.
Nice clean site, very quiet, was a little spooky seeing all the empty caravans everywhere but not in anyway unsettling, I’d stay again in a pinch!

My Daughter and I have a seasonal pitch. We just love it it's so peaceful Jan the owner of the park is such a lovely person and would do anything for you. Dougal our dog is very happy here it's home from home to him.

Next year a few of our family members will walk the West Highland Way from Milngavie (pronounced Mullguy) to Fort William. I did it in 2004 with my wife daughter and her partner and it was probably the best holiday ever. We intend to make this camping and caravan park near Crianlarich a base for some legs of the walk. Handily placed for tent and caravan overnighters with potential food and a pint nearby at the Rod and Reel village pub or Luib Hotel on the A85. The site benefits from friendly staff, showers and toilets, electric plug in and lovely surroundings for flora and fauna. Need to look at other opportunities on the Way but this ticks a three night box for sure.

£19 per night for a tent which is okay. The electricity no longer works for the tent pitches, I presume the caravan pitches are fine.
Toilets are decent but basic.
Swingpark is non-existant unless you like to stand under the swing frame and pretend there is a seat (I won't judge).
As a camper I don't plan on visiting again but can see the appeal of the site for caravaners.

Bit out of the way, but the local council have a scheme with local taxis to get people to the remote areas, just for the usual bus fares.
It's call DRT, meaning, Direct Responsive Transport. Run by Sterling council.
You need to register and then just book your journey the day before.
I had trouble getting internet or even phone signal, however, I managed to contact the taxi directly. He was able to process everything for me.
I took the precaution of listing the taxi numbers.
Lovely site, but no shop at present, so stock up before you go.
Local shop is a hike.

Situated on the main road, which has considerable HGV traffic all night. Check in was easy and pitch was generous. Toilet and shower block available but rather basic. The whole site could do with a good tidy up.
