Great 1-2 hours of fun at the museum. Little one had lots to do and see. The creation stations with feathers, glue, googly eyes and paper plates was so fun. Great addition of the free sanitary products in the toilets too.

The Natural History Museum in Colchester is a great place to take kids of all ages. It's packed with exhibits on everything from dinosaurs to local wildlife, and there are plenty of interactive activities to keep them entertained.

The museum is located in a former church, and the space is well-utilized. There are several different rooms, each with its own theme. The dinosaurs exhibit is a highlight, with life-size models of some of the most famous dinosaurs. The local wildlife exhibit is also great, with interactive displays on everything from birds to butterflies.

In addition to the exhibits, the museum also offers a variety of interactive activities. Kids can learn about the natural world through hands-on activities like playing with dinosaur fossils or exploring a replica of a local wetland. There are also special events throughout the year, such as dinosaur hunts and nature walks.

The Natural History Museum in Colchester is a great place to spend a day with kids. It's educational, fun, and affordable. And, since it's located in the heart of Colchester, there are plenty of other things to do in the area after your visit.

Ever interesting collection of English wildlife, expertly preserved for studying. Lots of skeletons, shells, & some high quality taxidermy on display in glass cases. The museum is tiny in a former church, but then many of the exhibits are miniature to almost microscopic, so there is plenty to see & all for free. Ipswich has a much bigger Museum dedicated to natural history, with exhibits up to & including the size of a Mammoth. However, that's closed until 2025, so this facility in Colchester precinct is the best option.

Very nice place with a lot of History there! Very educative for the Kids. The musem also has a microscop and you can even see each Line which you have on your hand. I Recommend the place especially for families with Kids! ❤️

Very small and basic museum, but free and decently done. I imagine would be okay for kids. Was empty when we were there. Five minutes of enjoyable bone looking for two dark-minded adults. Was initially attracted by the old, nature-covered church it's in. Definitely worth a walk around the outside to enjoy the facade, graveyard.

Nice little place several little things to look at but is fairly small. Friendly staff and can buy gifts
