The restaurant looks nice from outside, the furniture is old style, matching the theme of the area whete they also have classic cars museum. There were many people, most of tables were full, so all indications that food will be nice!
We ordered the 1kg mixed grill plate with rice, Lamb chops, grilled shrimps and mixed salad plate.
The only good plate was the mixed salad. The chops was fine as well.
But the mixed grill and grilled prawns were disaster.
The prawns looked like they were put out of freezer, tossed on grill, stuck to the grill, then put on plate. They were all shredded and cut. I dont know how they had the audacity to serve such a plate.
All the meat tikka in mixed grill were cut so small, served like burnt from outside (very black), the lemon taste was over empowering the taste that you cant taste the meat itself. Shish tawooq was tasteless and dry, chicken kebab was fine.
After we finished food i called the waitress and told him that this is really bad, worst restaurant by so far. I swear cafeteria food is far better than this.
He told me this is how persian food taste and it is different from arabic grill, but i tried so many persian restaurants before and none of them tasted like that.
Our bill was 240 dhs for food that should not be served or eaten.
By all means, no one should eat at this restaurant, try something else in fujeirah, or eat at the hotel.
