I phoned up around the end of March complaining of severe toothache. I got an appointment and told I need a filling but wouldn’t get it done that day because they were “too busy” so I didn’t get an appointment scheduled until the 11th of May!!! Sent away with no treatment and extreme agony! I phoned up 2 separate occasions afterwards complaining of the same thing and being unable to eat, drink or sleep due to the pain and I got told I had to wait till my appointment in may!

Since then I had to phone nhs24 to get a dentist to look at me and they gave me antibiotics and put on a temporary filling and told to phone my dentist back after the week. I done this and the dentist “Catriona” asked me my problem and when I told her she replied “and WHAT is the emergency?” She walked out the room to look at previous X-rays and told me I need my tooth extracted!!!!!! I am completely disgusted with the little duty of care I have received and I’m truly upset to come to the understanding that if I was seen sooner my tooth would have had more chance of survival. I will be looking elsewhere and do not recommend going here.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, greted with a smile. Dentist was great and explained everything that I was needing done in a very friendly manner.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, receptionist greted me with a smile. Dentist and therapist were both thorough and answered all my questions and they didn't rush me out the door like I was an inconvenience.

Not the best experience from this dental practice in the last few years here are a few of my points. I drove back from work in Edinburgh City Center for my appointment and was 5 minutes late and I was refused my appointment due to lateness, I have had to change appointments due to work and have to wait nearly 2 months for another one or if I want a late-night appointment its 3 months. Reception staff can be very rude at times and condescending, and what the most disappointing thing is I have been at this dental practice my whole life and have seen the service provided become awful so due to this I feel I must change dentist.

Used to be very well run practice. But during 2016 and early 2017 has severely degraded its quality of service in Leslie. Waiting one month for an appointment, and a further two months for a filling and tooth treatment is not my idea of great service. And not the correct diagnosis in that case, according to the next dentist I transferred to. A pity. Hope they can get back to being good, and rapid, and preventative.

fantastic practice ! really friendly staff and the dentist I seen was lovely and very gentle. He took the time to explain everything and both him and the nurse made me feel relaxed (normally I am petrified !)
would highly recommend
