Who needs Stonehendge! Hard to imagine how these stones were erected between 4,000 and 5,000 years ago! Only a short walk from the Dunchraigaig Cairn car park but be warned, the ground near the stones can be rather boggy. This is a must see for anyone interested in stone age Scotland and completely free to visit.

‘A’ road goes straight past, car parking is adequate. 250 mtr walk to the stones through the burial mound. The stones stand in a boggy field so wellies, good shoes are recommended. Worth a visit to see some ancient Scottish history.

Fascinating standing stones and rock circles adjacent to the Dunchraigcraig cairn. Can be muddy if it has been raining heavily. Beautiful surrounding sites make the walk in the glen worth it.
