Dropped by for an unannounced visit hoping to get an appointment for a vet to check out my dog whilst holidaying in the area. Was given a late morning appointment. In keeping with all vets, was seen 20 mins after the appointment time. Staff were lovely and looked after my dog and prescribed antibiotics for a small wound. £98 not cheap that's comparable with South East prices. Still dog is good which is always the main priority.

We saw a lovely vet whilst we were on our holidays as my whippet had a tick on her eye lid - he removed it for us.
We had no appointment but they still managed to fit us in & we were able to carry on to Saunton Sands & enjoy our day. Thank you so much.

Although we visited to have our beloved dog put to sleep, the staff were absolutely fantastic, showed us compassion and gave us some dignity. They were busy when we went in, but they showed us to a room and let us say our goodbyes, there seemed to be no rush from them after for us to leave, they let us take all the time we needed.

They are and always have been, superb! Their compassion for the animals and their owners have always been brilliant. It is just a shame the surgery in Ilfracombe closed.

We have used this Clinic for a number of years now and found the service provided to be excellent in every respect.
Our Labradoodle "Buster" was recently found to have a lump on his chest although [non cancerous] it was in a very awkward place for him and needed removing.
From the first visit, to the operation which followed within two weeks, the care and attention shown by all those involved at the clinic was exceptional in every detail.
'Buster' is our baby and as all those who have pets will know, it is a very worrying time when they are poorly, especially when it involves an operation.
We would like to thank in particular 'Cerys Kingdon' the nurse, who cared for Buster. The professionalism, care and consideration shown by her throughout the procedure was a credit to Argyll Vets .We were reassured and kept informed at all stages even to the submission of the insurance claim and we thank you so much for that.

Very helpful when our dogs were not very well. They were seen quickly and well looked after. Staff are very knowledgeable and were able to put my mind at rest.
Our dogs are now fully recovered, thank you.

We are not local to the area. Our dog needed treatment. We called another vet first and they said could not see him and to ring back in the morning to see if they had an appointment available. We then called Argyll and they said to bring him in straight away. He was quickly seen and his problem was fixed there and then. They clearly have the animals well being as a no. 1 priority. Thank you !

I have never ever found a better vet's. These guys are the most caring and considerate I have ever come across. Both the veterinary staff and nd the receptionist's. Wonderful
