Recently moved to practice, been somewhere else before,breathe of a fresh air,not been able to get diagnosis for my infant daughter, who's struggling to put weight on, so I called for an appointment for my infant daughter in the morning, got seen in few hours later by Dr. Dan, who was so polite, special thank you !!! He told me that she has reflux issues, we had prescription but was hard to give her, ater we had to come back to surgery as my daughter was not latching, called receptionist who was saying there's nothing, was trying to get rid of me, when I explained she then spoke to a doctor, we had an appointment next day with Dr. Kirsty McLean,first impressions, she looked angry, not polite at all, but I'm grateful that she saw us,and prescribed her with another medication, fingers crossed my little one will get better soon.
My only issue so far is that there's a long long wait to get through receptionist over the phone.

I have always been treated by nurses and GPS to an exceptional standard and staff has always been companionate and honest. Nothing but absolute praise for all the staff.

I have been with this surgery for 10 years, but only recently have depended on and needed their support. I have been so impressed with the care and professionalism of the staff. Especially the lovely nurses who take my regular blood tests. Even through the Pandemic, my monthly appointments were met with care and empathy. Thank you.
Thoroughly recommend this medical practice. They're great.

What I experienced today, was a complete lack of empathy, a loss humanity and a real embarrassment for the NHS. This surgery is process driven and clearly does not have patient care in its priorities. It is a real shame as the small hours of this morning I saw the reality of overstretched In Torbay A&E and para medics on the ambulance. I saw hardwork and real emotion. Kingsteignton surgery you let yourself and your patient down.

My learning disabled son had his yearly MOT yesterday and ' what a difference this time ' !! Nurse Louise was lovely and put him at ease followed by Dr McClean who was delightful. Congratulations to the surgery in such difficult times.

the receptionists here act as though you are causing them an inconvenience by trying to get an appointment, let ALONE a prescription. if you take regular medication you’d better request it 5 months in advance because you can guarantee it will take them that long to process it. i cannot count the number of times i’ve had to come off my meds because they simply cannot fill a prescription quick enough, even though i have always requested them with plenty of time until i’m due to run out. this has caused me enormous medical problems and they couldn’t care less. you get more warmth from an ice cube than you do the receptionists here. some of the doctors are nice, the majority of them would do better working as active taliban members. they are rude, dismissive, fatphobic, completely clueless when it comes to mental health - avoid at all costs.

shoutout to dr ralph, dr hussey and dr leighton for being the only 3 decent human beings in this practiceu003c3 you deserve better queens

Lack of knowledgeable staff if any. Lack of care and understanding of mental health and urgency of prescriptions.
Lack of staff…period.
Doctors and pharmacist don’t call back when they say they will.
Just a mess, would leave but seems nationwide, however this practice in particular don’t use clinical notes appropriately if any… the lack of communication between reception, pharmacy and drs is appalling.

Disgusting treatment from staff, can't keep up with the work load. losing important referral letters leaving people weeks not know the result of scans ect. As for trying to speak to a doctor thats all almost unheard off in the surgery! If you have a choice stay away from this place!
