This park in the town centre is just darling! I mean, you're surrounded by all these cute little coffee shops and tea rooms, I can picture myself now, sipping on a cortado and people-watching all day long. It's the perfect spot for a lazy Sunday, or any day really. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who's looking for a bit of peace and quiet in the midst of all the hustle and bustle.

Nice walk along the river to see the ducks , but as for the shops 90% of them was closed even though it was 9.15 you would think being a holiday week and tourist around, I only came from torquay my self with the wife and daughter and grandchildren there was not a lot to do. So we moved on to some were else. Sorry

Fantastic little seaside town which always has things going on at special times of the year. We just recently went to the Christmas lights being switched on by the mayor and it was a really nice local vibe. With a few great free rides for the kids. Free hour chocolate was also on offer. The singing was great and the light parade too.
That weekend was also the Christmas market.
There are lots of nice quaint shops along each side of the river that leads to the sea front. Where Dawlish is famous for its black swans and at this time of year we are lucky to see the population grow as there are baby black swans on the lawn too.
There are lots of brilliant cafes and restaurants in amongst the shops too, so plenty to choose from. A really nice place to visit and if you live here.

Lovely, peaceful seaside resort,
Extremely pleasant walk along the new promenade to Coryton Bay for coffee and cake at the small beach cafe

Beautiful place, a lovely walk by the water and see and feed the ducks and famous black swans.

Really lovely little area in the centre a lovely village. Full of all sorts of water birds.. super exciting seeing black Swans as I havent seen many before! Even a little aviary area for the chicks!
Loads of nice cafes around. A great place to stop and have lunch.
