We personally use the park to walk our two Labradors, and it suits our needs perfectly. There's a small play area, which is fenced off so that dogs can't get in, a football pitch and tennis court which is also enclosed. There's a small car park, a path all the way round, and you can also access the canal to walk along a good few mile stretch. Some parts of the grass tend to flood during very wet weather.

If I could give 10 stars for hospitality I would. Not only are the lovely couple who run this community café friendly and welcoming but they restored my faith in humanity.
On route from Carmarthen to Wiltshire we wanted to stop at a small business rather than a service station - as well as wanting an open space to stretch the dog's legs. Unfortunately due to several sat nav errors we ended up lost twice for over an hour before even making it onto the m4!
By the time we finally made it to our chosen rest stop, the Pavillion Café had closed. We were the very definition of tired,weary travellers in pain (chronic pain disability) and feeling our day was turning from bad to worse .But, by a sheer stroke of luck, the owners came out of the doors to lock up and- having heard of our misadventures- very kindly offered to reopen so we could use their toilet and then provided us with takeaway cups of tea and biscuits.
This act of generosity completely turned around what had been a stressful day and gave us a reason to smile!
Like many small businesses, we learnt the Pavilion Café has been impacted by COVID-19 and recent event. To the local community, I'd urge you to support the café; it's a real rare gem as are the lovely couple who run it. You're lucky to have both so please do continue to support them!!

It's seems to be flooded most of the winter, the focus for the park is definitely on the football club (and fair play to them they have been there forever) all said and done thr car park is handy to walk up to the canal

Situated just off the canal at Malpas Road. Includes football pitches and one enclosed multi sport pitch. There is a small car park and Albion Rovers club house.

Small play park and plenty of room to play football. Cafe open sometimes but unsure when

Fun place to take my grandchildren, a small playground section for the 4 year old & football pitches for them to play football - practising goal shots on many occassions

They're currently chopping down a lot of trees, which is making the canal look worse
