Rooms are very small and quite basic. Shower pressure was low and toiletries were of low quality. Dinner in the bar was OK. And you have to pay everytime you order something rather than settling the bill after your meal. But parking is free, staff and polite and so all in all a decent stay.

Excellent hotel clean and tidy close to airport. Great for cruising as can leave car. Gym pool sauna etc. Have to pay extra for gym use and parking. Sports bar Starbucks on site and outside sitting area 2.5 miles from city centre

Room service staff were good and food was comparatively quite cheap with other hotel chains and menu was extensive which is rare! Staff looked relaxed and there were plenty of parking space. Only downside are the rooms which are small and were dirty, clearly no one has cleaned the room apart from changing bedsheets and towels. Room was full of dust even though only window was inside the bathroom! LOL

All in all for the price of the room and not getting access to the gym it's a bit of a rip off and no better than a premier inn, but it's way more expensive with an awful restaurant attached.

Further details on my experience. The room is absolutely fine, however depending what floor you are on, I was on 3, you can hear the gym banging weights loud till about 2200. Seems to be standard with all village hotel, very poor soundproofing.

The food in the restaurant is some of the worst I've ever had. I know it's a chain but this is below a wetherspoons and more expensive, I had a katsu curry, the chicken was with breadcrumb not panko, basically they were cheap over processed goujons you could buy in the Asda next door for £3. The sauce was also tasteless, comes in a tin and microwaved, I'm certain. The rice was ok, actually boiled but had been sat for a while I'd guess. For £17 I was really disappointed.

The gym is nice, some wear and tear now it's a few years old, the floor is not well maintained in the free weights section. However the chain have stopped giving gym passes to all hotel guests now and only offers them to the deluxe packages. This didn't used to be the case and a gym pass is extremely expensive for a day. Luckily they offer a day trial on the website, I was only staying 2 nights. The pool and sauna are good.

Comfortable enough. The rooms had a modern design but only having a window in the bathroom is a little odd.
The bar closing dead on 11pm seemed early for a Saturday night although staff were helpful
Booming music from the gym from early in the morning isn't the most restful

Stayed one night and opted to eat out as the other couple we were staying with and are vegetarians. Not one sandwich or wrap was suitable for a vegetarian, there were only 3 side dishes and one main dish that was suitable, and prices quite expensive for pub grub. Got a taxi into Chandler Ford and had a wonderful Thai meal excellent service. The price difference for meals paid for our taxis as was only a couple of miles away. Also plenty of other restaurants in Chandler Ford to chose from.
Breakfast food at hotel was just bearable. There is a bar football game in the same room and had lot's of kids shouting and screaming while trying to have a breakfast, don't get why the hotel had this in the restaurant area, the noise was unbearable.

I had to be moves rooms due to cleanliness issues twice. I was looked after very well whilst waiting there so I didn't mind too much. However till circa 10pm all you could hear was music and weights banging and that was on the 3rd Floor. I would stay here again, but higher than floor 3! Convenient that there is a Starbucks on site as I do love a coffee in the morning so is a nice way to start the day!

It a nice hotel, modern and very current, the bar is very open plan and is great for sports! The food is ok I’d say, and the menu is limited but I’ve never been disappointed.
The only downfall is the bar seems always understaffed, whilst there seems to be plenty of staff loitering around the premises. And lastly, it’s bit of a first world problem - the connection service here is shocking , you get zero reception here.
