A real delight to visit, knowledgeable curators made the visit even more enjoyable. A real trip down memory lane or an education in social history - depending on your age. Even I was surprised at how many items I was able to identify.
If you go, please donate generously to keep this gem of a place open.

We thoroughly enjoyed our museum visit. We spent around one hour but could have spent several hours had we arrived earlier. The volunteers are so friendly and knowledgeable about all the exhibits. There is something to cover all aspects of life on display. A real place of nostalgia.

Great little museum with a bit of everything! Well worth a visit. Very friendly and informative gentlemen on the day we visited. Would love to return on our next visit to the area!

A genuine alladins cave, a must visit if your in Dalbeattie, lots of weird and wonderful stuff in here all donated by the locals. Some fantastic history and very friendly and helpfull staff who will answer any questions and give you story's about any of the items. We spent a good hour in here, Brilliant.

A collection of social memorabilia, triggering lots of memories. Hands-on, run by volunteers, a great little place for an hour's browsing
