A local Sainsbury shop just behind Dorset County hospital. They’ve got the freshest and juiciest oranges ????, easily accessible from the main road but has a small parking space for cars.
Commodities are fairly priced

A young man serving the till really made our weekend! Friendly, helpful and incredibly kind. Also I don't think anyone has ever packed my shopping so efficiently - world class Tetris champion! Thank you

Brilliant local convenience store. Clean and well laid out, far better stock than you'd expect from its size. Good prices, efficient checkout system and friendly staff. A community essential!

As tourists, we really appreciated the friendly staff who looked after our family during a terrible storm while we waited for our rental car company to replace our faulty vehicle. We ended up doing our shopping here in appreciation for the kindness offered by staff. Highly recommend

All through the lockdowns, Dorchester Sainsbury’s Local have provided all we have needed. The staff have always been friendly and helpful. I feel safe shopping, which I feel is very important in these strange times.

Always have what I need! Only a small Sainsbury’s but never the less it always stocks the products you need at the right time. Staff have always been friendly and are always busy, parking is available too and the place is kept clean and tidy which makes it really nice to shop!

Got ourselves very lost in Dorchester after taking a detour on the way back from a holiday in Cornwall and satnav dying! Sainsbury's manager and staff so helpful in getting us back on route that we did some essentials shopping there before heading home! Saved us trying to find somewhere late in the evening to buy a map too! Thank you so much!

Kiosk lady was very helpful and jolly, however shop was rubbish, lacking in all the essential items and extremely too expensive
