Even though they advertise that their trolleys there is never anything to clean them with before use. Covid is still with us in case you haven’t heard

Café was closed for hot food at 1.20, when we arrived, speaking to the LONE member of staff manning the till, there had been a 45 minute wait for hot food. There were no trays available. The drinks station was filthy, there were no clean teaspoons (there never seems to be any). No paper napkins just a roll of kitchen roll. No one was clearing tables, we would normally put our dirty crockery on a tray and put in rack, but as there were none available - see earlier comment - we couldn't help the one member of staff!

Had an awful experience here a few months ago (see above) but thought we'd give the cafe another try as it been refurbished. Alas, it was not good. We ordered 3 hot drinks and 3 toasted sandwiches. Both the coffee machines were closed for cleaning, so the lady on the till was putting a spoonful of instant coffee in your cup. Do not expect to pay £1.89 for a cup of instant coffee - not sure what she would have done if we'd ordered a cappuccino! When we asked where the milk was we were pointed to a 6 litre container of milk sat amongst the chilled foods - help yourself... We then waited 50 minutes for the sandwiches to arrive. No frills, no salad as you used to get. We've learnt our lesson and will not return. Ever.

On the whole fine but the male toilets were dreadful. They stunk of urine. Had to hop over a trickle of fluid escaping from the smallest urinal to access the two larger ones. Panels also missing. Needs a total rip out and replace.

I try not to shop in this dismal store. Not only is the supermarket terrible value but the cafe is an absolute shambles. I don't think I've ever had to wait less than half an hour for food, it seems to be run by very slow people. The most comedic episode was when I was informed they had run out of poached eggs, but somehow had a supermarket full of eggs! How difficult can it be to boil some water in a saucepan! They don't seem to be able to deviate from the pre-processed egg-flavoured monstrosities which look more like brain when they come out. They seem to open the shop before you can actually buy anything. Just went in to buy a sandwich and was informed I can't buy it until 10am. What's the point of opening if you can't buy anything!!

After ordering online and waiting 40 minutes for a jacket potato and a kids nuggets I went over to ask staff where our food was they explained that I was the lady they couldn’t find. So instead of going by the table number they tried to find me as the “little girl” one staff member said. I went into the Morrisons to do some shopping and left my grandad at the table I then came back and sat down for at least 25 minutes.And we got given our food straight after I asked the staff where is was, which was LUKE WARM meaning that our food had been sat on a side in a kitchen for at least 25 minutes. They then later laughed and said they were sorry they couldn’t spot me I explained they should go by the table number not the person. Not happy very poor service , definitely would not recommend!!!

Did my shopping and spent £70 almost. I also asked for 3 bags just the normal size WELL... I couldn't believe my eyes when looked at receipt £ 1.80 60p a bag. Someones making alot of profit and who is suffering for it, the CUSTOMERS !! Let them tell me that's fair.

Not enough staff on self service so people waited a very long time for help. If they can’t resource them properly they are a waste of time. A significant proportion of people needing age verification etc which is inevitable this time of year need more staff.

Morrisons have improved their cafe food so much and it was really tasty on both occasions. Both times very hot and efficient
