I am writing to give you feedback about your terrible service last weekend and the disgustingly rude woman who answers your phone
On Wednesday 12 October I booked taxis with you to take us from Updown Farm to The Rose Inn, Wickhambreaux for dinner on Saturday 22 October with a return. I spelled out the postcode to be sure. Your service was recommended by the owners of Updown.
On the 22nd I checked my text from you and noticed it had the Rose in Deal as our destination.
I called up to correct things and was told in rude and definite terms that this couldn’t be done. Wickhambreaux was in Canterbury I was told and you couldn’t possibly take me there. It is not in Canterbury and is in fact just 14 miles from Deal. The woman simply refused to entertain taking me and put the phone down in the end. We had to cancel our dinner.
It's pretty disgusting of you to refuse such a short trip, especially at a time when restaurants are under such pressure in terms of costs and staff shortages. Losing business because firms like you can’t be bothered to make such a short journey just adds to their problems.
Needless to say Updown were shocked to hear of your terrible service and will not be recommending you again.
