One of my children had the pleasure of their first ever riding experience at Bleach Yard yesterday. They were so well looked after by Amy, and Bob the pony; patient, encouraging and knowledgeable. They were then able to groom Lily and we had another three children chatting and grooming with us, ll telling us how they loved going there. It was a real tribute to the Yard. Once moved to Beverley late this year, we will be back! My only improvement point is that he wrong time was in the diary for our visit, but I showed my email exchange with Joyce to the person checking us in and all was well.

This place is so nice and clean the horses look very happy and so far I've only had two lessons there but I've been riding for ages and I was at this place called south pastures it was good but I feel like I'm already doing way better here at bleach yard I ride Bob and my trainer says no kid at my age(12)can ride him like me because he is too bouncy but he felt great and he is a horse I've been needing to ride and I hope to loan him one day lol

We took our children to have their first ever horse ride whilst on holiday close to Beverley. They were so kind and supportive to our young kids. So much so that we went back again two days later. By the end of the second lesson they were both riding and trotting on their own. A really supportive environment. I would recommend. Thanks.

Seems like you never responding to people’s comments and seems the prices are so expensive for riding lessons and my daughter is been put off by the muddy paths and other things as well like the person on the phone been very rude to customers very inappropriate manners how dare you do that to people they are going to riding schools near by which are better and my daughter has been put off by you hitting the horses and ponies very nasty so it will it be kindly reported to BHS and World Horse Welfare and to the RSPCA as well so my daughter is disliking this place now

Great stables. Horses very well looked after. Great tuition. Our university stable 30 years ago and was perfect. Joyce (if you're still there) is a great instructor!

Our 1st visit - We were all made so welcome even our dog Bailey who joined in with the pack of yard pups and had the absolute time of his life!! Our girl Hannah had her 1st lesson (with Callum) and really really enjoyed it - she can’t wait to go back

Ok, so I used to go riding at Bleach Yard when I was young and loved it. When my son decided he wanted to ho riding I brought him here. I have been told he has Aspergers and so this was a big deal. Anyway, I wasnt disappointed at all. He loves it and the instructors are amazing. However, I changed my mind when I rang up this morning as my son has a temperature and is not very well. Due to it raining heavily, I thought it would be a bad thing for him to go riding. It's supposed to be dry tomorrow so asked the if I could take him tomorrow instead so technically they are not losing out on anything. Well, not so simple as I was given a lecture on their 24hours cancellation notice period. I explained that I could not have possibly have known 24 hours before that he was going to be I'll today and riding in the rain might make him more poorly . She wouldnt listen and continued to give me a lecture. All other staff are lovely. I had previously postponed a lesson for a day when the car broke down on the morning of the lecture. It wast an issue then and no one gave me a lecture so why now. Simple, it was the woman who answered the phone on this occasion. So Joyce, if you are reading this take her off the phones or tell her to be less rude. I now am wanting to take my son to a different stables but he cannot cope with change so this might not happen. I am definitely going to try and get him to move as I am not being treated like this by someone like her. If a parent could tell 24 hours before that her child was going to be I'll, it would be amazing but we can't. And also, I didnt cancel the lesson, it was postponed for a day.
Edit: unfortunately Joyce didn't respond to my letter of complaint. Very disappointing to be honest. I am still trying to persuade my son to move to another stable for his lessons and I will continue to do so. Their attitude towards a complaint is discusting. Better schools out there for the same money. I would like to think she didnt respond due to not getting the letter but she probably did and just didnt care to respond. I am reducing number of stars to one. I hate giving them money every week, I really do. If a customer complains, they should take it seriously which they obviously dont
