My favourite place to eat and relax a bit in Stansted airport. Two floors so lots of seating. Drinks and food available. Prices are high, but you can expect that in the airport. The good thing you do not have to wait in the queue as it is possible to order via whetherspoon app. Food is good and delivered fast. Good food variety. Recommended.

Impressive fast turnaround. 2 burgers served to the table in 10 minutes allowing ample time to enjoy them before we made our way on the shuttle to our gate. Speed 5/5. Service 4/5 Helpful, quick and polite but has also come across somewhat disinterested on other visits. Serving Size: 4/5. Ease of finding a free and clean table: 4.5/5. Atmosphere: 4.5/5. Whenever we look at all the other decent options and the prices, we always return here and are never disappointed. Menu: 4/5 When you're at an airport, sometimes you want to eat whatever looks good to eat or drink on a menu not to be limited by a 1100am cutoff where only breakfast is served before. Recommended: The BBQ burger and Ultimate Burger were very nice.

The breakfasts on the other hand, have good options but the quality of the items is low so won't have one of those again. On value, it is £62 for 4 traditional breakfasts, 1 small breakfast and 2 refill coffees. I wouldn't say the quality justifies the price. If you want to change the hash browns for chips; not before 11am!

Very expensive airport prices. Very hot in the upper seating section during the summer. Quick turnover of tables with plenty around so you won't be waiting long. Underwhelmed by the burger (American Cheeseburger) that I bought. Also had a lemonade and Margherita which came to £27 total.

The Windmill is a popular pub and restaurant located in Stansted Airport. It is a large venue with plenty of seating, but it is also very busy, especially during peak times.

The food is generally good, with a wide variety of pub classics on the menu. The staff are friendly and efficient, and they are quick with drinks. However, it can be difficult to get a table

Was quite disappointed with the quality of the food! The chips were cold, wings appeared over fried and let's not talk about the "garlic bread" at all!
Given that the outlet is within the airport area, this would probably never lack the customers visiting the place not because of of quality served but because you would have fewer options available with you for a quick bite before you catch your next flight.

We have checked all the restaurants in Stanstead, the Windmill is the cheapest. Other places need £2.59~2.99 for butter and toast, here is coming with the big breakfast.
They also have free refill for tea and coffee, which is a machine.

Absolutely buzzing and busy place at Stanstead Airport, dont be though, Villa Maria my favourite wine at my local Weatherspoons £12.50, same wine £24.50.

Had a great pizza and beers, quick table service hassle free, staff were great and its one massive place on 3 levels...

Besides massive increases in prices for same food & drink, best place to be before your flight.

Ordered food and drink using app. Drinks came within 5 minutes and then food came a few minutes after. Very quick. Food was good quality and reasonably priced compared to other venues at the airport. Very friendly staff. Plugs at table to charge phone. Would use again. Revisited and burgers were not as good value for money, but came quickly, ordered via the app.
