Very disappointed, disgusting, will never order from here again !! Greasy, mushy, very salty and most of the meat was inedible. Binned most of it and had beans on toast !! Really wish I had read the previous reviews. Used to be good - now it's terrible. £25 for one person - never again. Wish I could rate it zero stars, cos it's not worth the one star that you have to give to be able to post a review.

Cheap is the only positive…..
Prawn balls - dough was uncooked.
Generally low standard compared to other oriental takeaways in Heathfield.
Delivery time was very poor also.
Won’t use again

Ordered some food last night. We ordered various dishes and my boyfriend had the chicken satay, which must have been contaminated or not cooked properly as he spent the entire night and today throwing up. Clearly food poisoning as this was the only thing he’d eaten all day that no one else had eaten and it set in about 6 hours after eating which is consistent with food poisoning. There was 2 pregnant people with us and luckily they weren’t the ones to eat it otherwise it could’ve been a completely different story!

Had a chicken curry last night, couldn’t eat it as it was so salty, sauce was a much darker colour than it used to be and chips were over cooked. Such a shame as Superstar used to be the best Chinese takeaway around!

The review at the bottom was written some time ago before it changed hands since then it has gone downhill.
Some dishes are still excellent like Kung Po and Singapore noodles, but twice the lemon chicken has been inedible in fact in the point of being tainted.
Went in last night and the shop was a tip with boxes everywhere I'm really thinking hard about going back.

I am a customer for nearly 20 years.
Excellent value, superb quality.

Driving through Heathfield on a long journey and stopped here on the spur of the moment and so glad we did. The best rice and sweet and sour chicken we've had in a long time! Noodles tasted great but are very thin (more like ramen). Service was also awesome, friendly, helpful and quick. We appreciated the free fortune cookies! Thank you.
