Affordable rent for bachelors, with min fecilities, & for the family separte rooms are available, if you want luxary & clean visit any another

Fantastic place and Mair was such good company. She was friendly, funny and knowledgeable about walking in the area. Loved the pub and Anstel lager. Thanks so much for a lovely time! ???? xx From the terrible twins. Xx

Best pub around for miles.
Beer is fantastic, staff are happy to help and regulars welcoming.
Highly recommended.

Popped in after finding my grandfather's grave in the chapel next door. Warm and welcoming and a nice pint.

great pub, friendly with a warm welcome, the beer is second to none & not overpriced like most pubs. the views outside are pretty stunning too, would be nice to sit outside with a pint of the finest & just watch the world go by! oh, and its dog friendly!!

A lovely, old fashioned country pub with very friendly customers and a landlady that you would want to make this place your 'local'....pity I live in Kent!!
I will be back!

If you want an old fashioned country pub with a warm welcome and the finest beers at cheap prices, then this is the place for you. This is the best pub around by a country mile. Mair is a brilliant landlady and knows more about beer than 99.9% of publicans. Pubs like this are a dying breed so please consider giving it your support. Diolch.
