The Staffs are all good, we behave, and so down to earth people. Delivery service is also very good

We stayed as a group of five adults and a child. We had an amazing time! The place is well kitted out with everything you may ever need for cooking and entertaining. The children's play area was a nice touch also, our daughter had fun on the swings and in the boat every day. There is also a bigger play park just down the road within walking distance, not to mention Landmark themepark, which she enjoyed too! We enjoyed mornings out on the deck, taking in the sounds of the river and birds, and spent most evenings in the hot tub! I'm not usually much of a hot tub person, but this one was superb! The house is also very conveniently located in terms of getting provisions (Spar within 5 mins walk), going for walks on trails, and popping in for a drink at the pub after. The only potential negative for me, was that the mattress in the room upstairs (the one with the en suite) was a bit lumpy and could probably do with a replacement, but that didn't put a damper on us all having an incredible time here! Would definitely recommend it and would more than happily stay here again! Thank you for a great, relaxing time!

We stayed for the weekend 8 adults and 5 kids. The accommodation was spotless on arrival and filled with everything you need. The layout is great and the kids had the best time in all the bunk beds, dens and the great private garden to let their imaginations run wild. The river and the bridge are beautiful too right outside the house.

We made full use of the hot tub and large living space. We went a few walks and also paid a visit to Landmark which is just a 10min walk away which was a great wee day out.

We would definitely recommend this place, Cat (host) is very easy to deal with too and everyone had the best weekend !

My group of 7 stayed for 3 nights at Smithy Croft in August 2022. Our stay was, from start to finish, just excellent. The agent who assisted us, Cat, was incredibly helpful and communicative throughout and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was positive. The house is excellently located as a base to explore the Cairngorms and furnished and equipped to a high standard. The enormous outdoor area, complete with hot tub, firepit and BBQ was a hit! The bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen and living spaces made excellent communal areas. I'd recommend Smithy Croft to other large groups without hesitation.
