Clean and well stocked, but when it came to paying, self service assistants were less than helpful or interested in providing customer service. I asked for 2x 60p bags to which they walked past me with them and didn't let me touch them like they were worth a million pounds to scan themselves. Having scanned them she then wandered off and left the till in a state I couldn't use the self scan barcode. Another member of staff then told me because I scanned the bags before, I would have to scan every item again, to which I tried to explain I didn't scan the bags as I wasn't allowed to. I then said maybe I could just go to another empty til and do it that way as it would be much faster to which she just shrugged and said "guess so" and she then wandered off too. When I pressed the checkout button, the red light came on as I had some ibuprofen, and she looked over but didnt bother approaching. I mentioned the red light to which she then reluctantly approached with an eye roll included.

First time there so took a while to find things, but I had courteous held when I asked. It's not big for a Tesco, but the range of fresh meat was disappointing compared to a Morrisons or Asda of the same size. Club Card offers were very good. Branded products, they match the competition, But as only Tesco sell Tesco own brand, there is no comparison and each of their own brand goods I bought, would have been cheaper had I bought the own brand elsewhere. This has always been why I don't use Tesco if there is another major player in town. The guy on the till was extremely polite.

Great staff! Everyone of those I spoke to was friendly and helpful. The store was well stocked and clean. One of the better Tescos I have used. There is a large car park in front of the store and a petrol station near to the approach road... which is very narrow and quite busy.

Always good fresh produce, very clean, going at the right time there is hardly anyone there.

Only popped in quick. Had what I needed and staff seemed friendly. Plenty of parking.

Without exception every member of staff I have come in contact with has been friendly and helpful- it’s a pleasure to shop in our local Ilminster store!
