Stayed in Room 15 for 2 nights. Not a great room if you're taller than 5'10. Good size. Bed was fine. Realised though not long after getting there you have to share the room. There are 3 ants in the bathroom, their names are Larry, Barry, and Harry. Nice lads been here for a while. All of their family and friends seem to have died to the half dozen ant traps behind the toilet.

We stayed at this hotel for long weekend for my birthday in April. We had a really lovely time staying here. All staff were very happy, helpful and friendly and we were especially well looked after by Zara and Kira.
The food was lovely. The area around was nice with a cute little town and beautiful lake and picnic area. The only thing is could say negative was that the rooms could do with a bit of upgrading but they did the job and we didn’t go away to spend much time in our room. Thank you for a lovely birthday weekend.

A “Thank you” and 5⭐️is not enough for the work and effort made by Stacey and her team to celebrate our wedding. The day was just perfect from start to finish.
All our guest rooms were as requested our honeymoon suite was clean and nicely set up. The DJ, bar staff, chef and again Stacy made this a day to remember ????????????most definitely.

Nice clean room although our booking wasn't correct, kettles in rooms had lime scale had to rinse out before use several times. The fan wasn't connected to the wall had to prop it on a chair .overall the cleaning was top marks . The evening meal was really nice and reasonably priced.

The staff were lovely, but one person had way too much to do reception, phone bar etc. The room was a little tired, but the breakfast was very good with enough staff to make the experience excellent

One word …… shambles
Mother’s Day carvery, seemed to be only 4 members of staff on and only 2 of them seemed to be working. Waited 40 minutes before even getting the menu. We ordered starters and after 30 minute wait we told them to forget the starter we would just have a carvery. Carvery looked good, good choice, but no roasties, 5 minute wait and we had some roasties, no parsnips, just an empty tray, and then no gravy! Gravy is a must on a roast dinner. 10 minutes…… I kid you not 10 minutes for them to refill the gravy. By this time my dinner on my plate was stone cold. A real let down and my family and I won’t return.
Customers were having to clear their own tables. People walking out without having their desserts they had ordered.
I feel sorry for all the mum’s being treated to a meal out. It was no treat!
However one positive for the park hotel to take on board. Your worker James. He was a legend. He couldn’t be more apologetic and was very honest with what was happening. He seemed embarrassed at what was going on around him.
Better planning needed.

This was our second visit for their Sunday Carvery. Both times we have eaten here the staff have been happy to see us, professional, courteous and quick with any requirements. The carvery is fantastic and on the previous visit we ate from the normal menu, which was just as good. There's plenty of seating inside & plenty of parking outside. If you are in the area and would like a decent meal that won't melt your wallet you won't go far wrong eating here. Oh, and a special mention to our server who could stunt double for Wednesday Adams. Amazing lady and a credit to Park Hotel.

I'm staying at Park Hotel on a Bakers coach trip, and I highly recommend this hotel. Staff are friendly, efficient, and accommodating. Room is excellent, very generously serviced, as are other aspects.
