The food is great and friendly service. -1 star because the waitress today really wasn't very good. Slow and overwhelmed by the relatively few people in the shop. Pretty sure I got overcharged too but as no itemized receipt, difficult to contest. She spent quite a bit of time watching the chef prepare food instead of looking after customers and then obvious items like milk with tea had to be requested.
Food: tasty and well presented
As a dining experience: could be better

The quality of the food is excellent and cooked to perfection. If you haven’t been, you need to. The couple who own it are so welcoming and lovely. It’s a true hidden gem.

Wonderful people that stayed open late to serve me a much needed coffee towards the end of a long day on my bike tour. So much appreciated. Good coffee too.

Great little tea shop, amazing scrambled eggs. Cakes are superb. Great for cyclists. Lovely little courtyard, shame it's not bigger inside. Super, friendly service from Theresa and Mark. Little gem!

Lovely friendly staff, great dress food and cake was fantastic. Anyone looking for somewhere small and enjoys good food should visit them.
