we have been here many times and enjoyed it we thought we would try the roast dinner and it was cold, had little portions, thin meat and didn’t come with all of the usual roast dinner foods (like stuffing).

Lovely night stay, room clean and super comfy bed. Staff very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. Didn't eat here as was visiting friends but looked delicious. No breakfast but nice cafe close by

As we now live close by, we decided to check it out. So far, we've had a Sunday lunch and a Valentine's meal here and both were really good. Tasty food and decent portion sizes. We plan to make this a regular haunt for meals out with family and friends

I don’t generally post reviews on pubs, restaurants etc, but in this case I will. It simply deserves it. We had a lovely lunch on Monday 22nd May. Service was excellent, food was very very good and presented in such a way that the staff clearly go that extra mile. Portions were more than adequate, but it’s the little things that count to show the difference between ‘the norm’ and ‘high standards’
Food choice was very good and the pasta chargrilled chicken in a creamy, slight hint of chilli pasta sauce was lovely. Beer garden was welcoming with kiddies play area and the restaurant looked great for an evening meal. Finally prices were very fare for the quality and quantity of food and yes I will be back. I booked in for Valentine's evening and I have to say that it was an excellent meal. Both my lady and I will be booking a table very soon as we couldn't have been more satisfied. Well done to the whole team and thank you for your wonderful warmth and superb service.

Great little pub. But more of a eating pub than a pop in for a pint. Toilets were clean and tidy. Staff well dressed and polite. Food is fantastic.

Hick up with the service. Sorted. Food was excellent and well worth it. Would certainly recommend. Will visit again, when I am next in the area..
