We were a group of 4 staying nearby for playing golf the next day and it was very easy to book at The White Hart.

When we arrived, the staff were very welcoming and let us know about what's available or what wasn't but we're very friendly.

The food was superb, two of our group got the tomahawk steak and it was incredible - well worth the extra.

The rest of the platters both the starters and mains we ordered were all to a great quality and delicious!

Good music and good atmosphere and the lady who served us was very attentive and made sure we had everything we wanted or needed.

We were last out the door, and we even asked what the music was they had playing and they hooked us up with the Spotify playlist!

10/10. Fantastic choice for meat lovers.

I very rarely come over this way a d it's always nice into a place like this. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the roast was great.

This was one of the best roast dinners I have ever had out. The roast trio consisted of beef, pork belly and turkey with all the trimmings and lots of delicious gravy. Virtually faultless. The portions were large including the desserts which were equally generous. The building is cozy with real fires and a spacious conservatory. To top it off the staff were friendly, efficient and welcoming. We will definitely be coming back.

Disappointed after booking this based on reviews for a family 50th.
The waiting staff were prompt and polite, however the food was pretty average for the price.

Skinny chips were like lots of ends and bits, heavily tasting of oil.
The chicken bbq burger had no bbq flavour. I'm wondering if they forgot it. Chicken was hard. Very small portion for the price.

The cheese cake and Eton mess sundae were also disappointing, really basic and the strawberries were on the turn.
Gin and tonic average.

Toilet was also filthy. We won't be back I'm afraid.

Nice Sunday roast, food was good, service was a bit slow, clearly a pretty new team but they were all friendly and served with a smile. Good deal with the 3 courses for £30. Garden looked inviting in the sun this afternoon, although still a bit cold for eating out in my opinion, but others were enjoying the early spring sun out there!
Overall, a nice place for a Sunday lunch with the family ????

We went for a spur of the moment Sunday roast. Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. 2 of us had the pork belly, and 2 had the turkey roast. The pork belly was really good. The Turkey was a Turkey roll joint rather than a full bird or crown, not exactly as we were expecting. It wasn't as nice as expected. However, the accompaniments were really nice. Stuffing ball, pig in blanket, large Yorkshire pud with green beens, cauliflower cheese & greens. Really tasty overall but a little pricey. I would recommend but eorth considering the cost, a roast is around £18-20 for an adult & £8 for a child.

Lovley inside here by the fire ???? , had steak on their steak night and was very nice and thick. Brownie was the best I've ever had. Staff were friendly and nice. Was a little expensive but worth it. Will be back again
