Public school located in Al Thameed. Emirati local and expat students from near by areas such as Dhaidh, Filli, and Bahayes attend this school. The school is for cycle 2 and 3, mainly grades 5 up until 12.

The school as both indoor and outdoor play areas, 2 computer labs, 1 robotics lab etc.

I don't think the photos online do this little pub justice. The views from the garden across the Tamar valley are fabulous and inside is the quintessential olde world pub. We sat outside as it was a lovely summer's day but I imagine it's a cosy place to sit by the fire in the winter. Didn't eat so can't comment on food but good selection of beers, had a nice pint of Legend and another of Sea Fury. If you happen to arrive by train beware the ENORMOUS, almost-vertical Stony Lane to get back to the station. You'll certainly feel it in your calves!

Popped in here after ringing the bells at St Andrews church. A very welcoming pub. Great landlady and locals. Perfect selection of real ales especially Sea Fury and Legend. First time I’ve seen them on tap at the same time in any pub. Made a great end to a good night

Wow,when you walk through the door you know you're stepping back in time. Low beams, nice cosy areas and it's even candlelit! Great staff and food too.

Visiting on the ale trail, went back with the family. Great pub! With the open fire for winter and plenty of stable outdoor seating and cover for the summer (with a view) - a place I'd highly recommend to visit. For lunch, dinner or an ale session! Welcoming attentive staff to top it all off.

Over a quarter of a mile outside Gunnislake on Calstock Road, this is in a very pastoral setting. Some of the menu choices were not available, and I went for the chicken curry. Service was prompt and the curry very good. Washed down with a couple of pints of Jail Ale. If you are using the train as I did, beware, nearby Stony Lane (nicely resurfaced) is very steep, and I mean steep. Give yourself plenty of time for a few 'breathers' on the way up!

Travelled up on a Fri over 5hrs so booked in advance. Tired hungry & thirsty arrived at 6.25 pm, pub very busy, pointed to a corner of the pub by bar staff, table covered in dirty plates & glasses & no chairs. No attempt to clear table by staff & mention of no chairs met by shrug of shoulders. Clearly popular pub but couldn’t care less rudeness means our week stay in the area meant we took our custom elsewhere. ????????u200d♂️

We headed straight to The Rising Sun for some real local ales (The Legend) recommended by a local was indeed great. The Rising Sun is a 17th century pub with Very friendly staff and in addition to indoor seating there are outdoor blend-into-nature seating options with clean toilets too. Free ???? gy beer too for your pets. Car park available. There are some short walking options available taking you to the river in the valley.

Had a lovely drink, dinner and a chat, gluten free burger was no problem for my coeliac wife. Felt most welcome and dogs are similarly treated.
