Smaller than expected as half of it is a hotel. Great to go where Heartbeat was filmed, beautiful little village. Didnt eat here but drinks are ok, staff could be friendlier

Just dropped in for a cocktail for my grandson who'd just had his 18th birthday and is delighting in the occasional alcoholic drink.
I was driving so it was hot chocolate for me. The barmaid was very perceptive and diluted the cocktail well with lemonade.
Pleasant part of my grandsons Heartbeat experience.

Afraid the man behind bar was so curt and unfriendly, kinda spoilt our visit! We were there early this year and friends just been and said the same ???? nicer atmosphere outside .

Not a large selection of food, pretty basic but what I got was OK although a bit pricey but then again I understand they have to make a buck during tourist season.

£23.00 got a pint a glass of wine and 2 small pasties and a dog water bowl outside that is full of stagnant rain water! Absolute rip off with rude staff avoid.

Greengrass couldn't afford to eat here anymore. His chickens have better manners than the staff.

Great food and bar staff was very knowledgeable.to.the show. Good.was good and we sat by the open fire. Glad we went in January
