This is a great old fashioned DIY type homewares store. They have all sorts of things including many things that it's difficult to find elsewhere ranging from nuts and bolts of all types and sizes, to plumbing stuff, to gardening stuff, to cleaning stuff and they also have a reasonable pet section.

All in all a really good shop with a huge range of products for it's size that are difficult to find elsewhere.

I love Brook's Basics! My favourite shop - I recommend them to everyone. Such a great range of products and the fact you can buy individual fixings, etc., rather than a box of 200 is brilliant for someone like me who'd never need so many! Amazing range of seeds and pots, and lovely kitchenware too. So many nice things that make great gifts (soaps, etc.). Tonnes of other products, too - an Aladdin's cave for sure! Very affordable prices - much cheaper than the big stores. And the team there are so friendly, helpful and awesome! Shop local, support these guys! Thanks BB :)

This shop has it all. A real corner hardware store. Prices are fair. Nice assistances. Young and polite. You won't get out of there without buying something. ????

Excellent place for DIY hardware tools , bolts nuts screws nails and loads of other stuff . can buy in small quantities is very useful as don't have to buy a big bag of nails for example but just a handful as sold loose by weight

Everything you need every time I have been in they always willing to help very good place to buy gardening equipment, tools of all sorts, nails, screws, plumbing equipment Everything you need, ( well done guys)

You are able to buy one screw to 100 screws
A great Hardware store located in Marsh Barton.
