Absolutely outstanding ancient woodland, perfect place to get away from it all immersing yourself in nature's beauty.
Lots of various birds including woodpeckers for bird watching its perfect.

Toilets at the carpark (which is free) are okay, disabled facilities too however not as clean as you'd expect.

Very noisy when the racetrack is in use, however the further in you get the quieter it is.

Volunteers meet regularly to keep the woods nice & clean as well as working on other projects.
Well done guy's you've done an awesome job ensuring the woods remain as beautiful as they are for everyone to enjoy.

One of the best places I have ever been so far, however the state of the toilet is gross.

Not knowing why Cheshire West Council that owns this place is one of the richest counties in the U.K !!!!!

Cheshire West Council please make a general refurbishment of this place proper one of course don't be scrooge you can afford it.

Also don't close the car park at 7pm, for what reason? You can get into the park at anytime, so why limit the opening hours of the car park?
closing car park at 7 p.m doesn't help either.

Good free car park Gents toilet closed due to Covid-19 risk but ladies and disabled were open. Strange, are they immune? Gents toilets everywhere else are open and just signed for social distancing so why not here?

Great car park, parking is free, you can stay as long as you need and there are toilet facilities.
