I am merely rating the grounds. I have ancestors who were baptised, married and buried here.
Shame that many churchyards have used the headstones as paving slabs for the pavements etc.
I say down on the bench, and soaked in the atmosphere for at least 45 minutes.

I couldn’t get to the front of the churchyard, as I’d like to have looked at the other headstones.
But a beautiful church, and a wild churchyard.

First visit to the church as part of Deanery Synod. The main church has comfy padded seats.
There are other rooms as part of the parish hall and the toilets are of a good standard.

Neighbours funeral. Walked past this place hundreds of times. Very interesting reading some of the history displayed inside and on plaques on wall.

Worth a visit for the interior of the Church - the roof beams were put up by shipwrights from Devonport Dockyard and are as you would have found in any wooden ships from the 17th and 18th Century. Also, if you have the time, see if you can find the grave of the man who drowned seeing Napoleon Bonaparte when he was brought into Plymouth Sound on HMS Bellerophon on his way to exile on Elba.
