Very comprehensive cross section of Axminster, and its past trades. interesting well layed out displays,
NOT the Axmister carpet factory!! , small museum, £4 entry charge, helpfully smiling staff , town centre location,

Very informative. I spent around 1.5 hrs reading all the material. I was particularly interested with how farming and trade has changed over history due to demand, transportation and technology.

Brief canter through the ages and a few exhibits from the carpet factories, not that much compared with other museums for £4
