Worth the climb for the views (even in the rain) and the path is so well kept that I ran down without any trouble. There’s also a nice little ruin to poke around near the beginning of the trail. Took me exactly 2 hours round trip from the castle and back, but I definitely took my time on the way up.

Beautiful and magical walk from Inveraray Castle to Dun Na Cuaiche.
Takes some time to get up, but was definetly worth it.

Cracking wee dander that'll work up a sweat. Views were grand and plenty to keep your interest on the walk up and down as the fauna and wildlife were abundant.

Breathtakingly beautiful views!!!!!Approx 1 hr hike from Invarary on gravel / dirt track. Fantastic views along the way and also some ruins worth a look along the route.

Nice short but steep walk with great views over Inverary. The round trip takes anywhere between 1.5 and 3 hours. It can be muddy in places. Plenty of people wearing trainers but I would recommend walking shoes or even lightweight boots
