We stayed here for 7 nights, we enjoyed our stay here as the views are lovely and although it is a working boat yard we found it peaceful. The owner David and his son Adam were very friendly and extremely helpful. We were able to launch our fishing boat from their slipway too so we could go out onto Loch Melfort. We found that they have all the facilities that we needed and this is a site that we will definitely return to.

We returned to one of our favourite stopovers in our campervan. We were given a choice of park up spots. Good level hardstanding beside the grassy bank. Picnic tables on the grass are a lovely addition. Dogs allowed. This is a fully functional yacht yard so you will see yacht owners buffing and polishing their pride and joys.
We stayed 1 night, it cost £25 including EHU. There is black waste disposal, fresh water, toilets, showers and laundry facilities available. I 100% recommend here if you are in a moho or campervan.

Eccentric as a camp site, but it has everything you need (hot water, showers for 2x£1, washing facilities, Wi-Fi). Pitch your tent anywhere on the grass at the waters’ edge. Not luxury, but fine if you’re just looking for somewhere to pitch!

A unique combination of working boat yard and mooring facilities with space for tents, caravans and motor homes. Beautiful views of the hills across the loch create a laid-back and relaxing atmosphere. The facilities are basic, but provide the essentials. Always a friendly welcome.

Lovely little quirky camp stop with beautiful views, enjoyed watching the comings and goings at boat yard too
