Not a very spectacular looking bridge but the location is. It’s right close to Hampton Court Palace that make it an important historical site.

Balustraded Portland Stone and red brick arched bridge with tapering Art Deco caste iron lamp standards.
Attributed to the doyen of early Twentieth century British architects, Sir Edwin Lutyens (1933).
Good views downstream and of the Palace
Grade II Listed and the fourth bridge spanning the Thames approximately here.

The soft ice cream there is so good, I’m always passing by so just have to get one. Such friendly service nothing is too much trouble. One of Hampton courts gems for sure.

Definitely the best ice cream in Hampton. Very friendly and super generous with toppings and he even added more ice cream to my cone when I asked for some sauce ???? excellent customer service and wonderful tasting ice cream ????

This is the green ice cream stall situated on the bridge that sells traditional Italian ice cream. The best soft ice cream i have had in a long one time. Rich and cream. Then when you get to the cones. Even the standard cone is not your typical vendor cone, crisp crunch and had flavour. Hats off to thos lovely friendly vendor. Please support this business and you won't be disappointed!
