Nice place and well stocked.
Got a nice blue trout eventually.
Fish were rising everywhere.
Guys at the fishery were very helpful and pleasant.
Will definitely go back soon

first trip to skelmorlie fishery popped up just for a look hadnt fished for years was warmly welcomed by owner..... before i knew it was handed his own personal rod a quick 10m fresher course and left to fish for an hour or so free of charge along with a lovely cheesburger given to me by the owner a very nice gesture i thought.
Place is spotless owners very welcoming everyone very friendly and more than happy to help a beginner ...an absolutely stunning view over the water to all the isles
will definitely be back and would definitely recommend 5 star without a doubt.

Spectacular views and great fishing, even in the cold winter temps we seen plenty of rises from midday onward. Very friendly, involved owner who takes good care of the land and the fishermen.

Will be going back as soon as possible for another full day!

I went to the fishery on the 3rd August as part of Caths YES group. I thoroughly enjoyed it and John was great, he was running around helping us all (around 16 of us) and nothing was too much trouble.
It was a great day and really enjoyed the peaceful location and the stunning views. Liam catching the fish at the last minute was amazing and finished the day off perfectly. I will be back up soon ????????

X5 to the NET SKELMORLIE is a GREAT FANTASTIC fishery. GREAT fantastic fighting fish ???? EVERYONE that left ,left with a FULL BAG ❤️
#catchit@SKELMORLIE fishery and John's a FANTASTIC guy ????❤️ & the SKELMORLIE monster ???? is still lurking around the depths aswecould see it ALL-DAY it's HUUUGE at least 15LBS,????❤️ thanks for agreat day John, just punch it into Google maps and you'll get directions to there ,it's up next to skelmorlie golf club ❤️????

I would recommend anyone that wants to catch a fish ???? to go for a day's fishing ???? especially when you have the youth of today and want to get them to catch there FIRST fish ???? and get them the bug as the Fishery is ABSOLUTELY bubbling with TROUT ❤️❤️ highly recommend and the hut can supply you with all equipment and hooks etc. The guy's SO accomadating to the fishermen I'm disabled and Brain injured and use a walking STICK and John helped me set up and I caught a fish first CAST absolute RESULT ????❤️❤️❤️ I'll be BK so will my friend it's our FAVOURITE place for the day's fishing ???????? and very reasonable ❤️❤️❤️

This place was brilliant, highly recommended! the owner John was great, nice warm welcome. Loch was full of big Trout and as far as I know fish were all Grade A. Been fishing in my country of my residence Malta and been fishing for the third time in Scotland and can honestly say that the Skelmorlie Fishery is the best around here.
