Just returned from our 2nd stay at the old police house, and again had a lovely weeks stay in this fabulous accommodation in the nice friendly village in Great Ayton which is in a good location to visit the coast or the North Yorkshire moors. Nice touch from the owners leaving us milk, wine and other nice bits.
Good secure accommodation with electric gates. And nice to come back after a day out and relax in the hot tub. Plenty of dog friendly pubs and cafe's in Great ayton. I would highly recommend the G & tea cafe which also has a lovely outside bar / terrace situated a mile away and can be accessed by an off road walk.

Fantastic find in a gorgeous village!
Cannot praise this fab hidden gem highly enough! It has been designed to make the most of every inch of space and is perfectly equipped whether you're cooking a full on meal or grabbing a snack! We loved the hot tub with a beer on the evening before chilling in the comfiest bed! Josh and Laura can't do enough to help and are the perfect hosts! Absolutely brilliant and can't recommend it highly enough!

Stayed in The Old Police Cottage and it was perfect. The cottage has recently been renovated and is finished to a high standard throughout, a lovely charming cottage. It was immaculately clean throughout with high quality fixtures, good quality bedding, towels and robes. Dog friendly too which is always a bonus. It is ideally located in the village for enjoying the facilities of Great Ayton and the surrounding countryside. Would definitely recommend this cottage to friends and family.

Stayed here with friends over the weekend and wow!! What a place!! If your looking to stay somewhere In Yorkshire this is it. The whole place was immaculate and the gift basket on arrival was superb. There’s shops, bars, cafes, restaurants all within 5mins walk. There’s even a train station around 15min walk away. I would definitely recommend The Old Police House to anyone looking to take advantage of this beautiful part of the world. Thanks Josh & Laura for making our weekend special, will definitely be staying again ????

Stunning cottage with the highest quality furnishings, lovely and clean. Very private with a great location. The hottub was a bonus too- will definitley be returning.

Absolute luxurious place to stay in a wonderful village with lots of local walking and country pubs and places to eat, can’t wait to re visit an use the hot tub again. 5*
