very average taste wise nothing extraordinary..prices are at par with other such restaurants in sharjah... and even some dubai ones...we tried the deluxe and super deluxe veg thali .. frankly the food gave me a bit of an upset stomach.

they have a lot of options though so maybe it was just bad luck for me

I Ordered Pav Bhaji and Rajma Chawal, both were delicious. Place is neat and clean, staff is cordial and rates are reasonable.
Price 30-50 AED for 2 persons.

Dry and weird taste of sweet. Samosas I dared not to even put it my mouth smelly and getting black from the sides.
Above of all manager says it’s the best quality food in town.
Not recommended. It’s a absolute no no as they are delivering food which is on shelves for long time.

One of my favourite restaurant in the vegetarian category. I really enjoyed the menu every time I order and specially the gulab jamun is awesome. One can try the Thai they have with good choices of curries and rice. The thali is bit expensive but the quality and taste is pretty good.

Hey folks, We found one more veg restaurant, good place for the family. Chappan bhog is having it's own authentic menu like chats, varieties Indian sweets, North Indian meals, also some of the south indian menu, juice & milkshakes, hot beverages. apart from this, they have fresh home made snacks just below the photos are attached. They have seasoned desert or sweets like colourful modak for Ganesha chaturthi. Like wise lot more home made taste. During our visit multiple times to chappan bhog, Idli was bit hard. if they could make soft fresh then it will be so good to enjoy the idli sambar. Rest other menu and taste is so good. In terms with pricing you can check the menu online before visit. staffs here very good in serving.
The next when we think about the parking, Chappan bhog doesn't attached with any free parking service here in locality. weekdays there is paid parking slots may get it. However in the weekend paid parking slots will be busy. hard to get it. & no restroom facility is available here inside of chappan bhog. apart from this the chappan bhog is good.

We tried their Thali. It was very nice not very spicy ... its bot a very big thali just 2 vegetable dishes, 2 daals, Bondi Raita, Samosa, salad, papad, tandoori roti and tanduri paratha. But the taste was good. And you can ask for refill. (No desserts)
This place is not very big and because of pandemic just 4 operating table.
Staff was nice ... manager himself was asking on every table if the food is ok.
Service was tad bit slow because they were having loads n loads of take away orders.
But overall a nice place and nice food.
Dosa was also good and coconut sauce was delicious.

Chappan Bhog- a gateway to street food of India

A great place for having Indian Chaat & Desi food, specially of your a vegetarian. Though the place is small but it hardly matters if the food is scrumptious. The staff is helpful.

Chhappan Bhog is an Indian restaurant in Abu Shagara, Sharjah that serves vegetarian Indian food of which chaats are a major and yummy highlight. It is good for a family gathering. We visited there for lunch last week.

Coming back to food, we started with the Pani Pur... the pani puris were mouth watering, the perfect balance of sweet & sour water is what makes them perfect.
Followed by Bhel Batata Puri & Dhai Puri ... both were just delicious... we finished them in no time.

We also tried their combos ....
- the Achari paneer tikka combo ... which comes with delicious paneer tikka, rajma & paratha. Loved this.
- Chane ka saag with Makai ke roti... this is highly recommendable... just perfectly made.
- Special Thali... not less than a maharaja thali , quite shareable portion.

They also serve some amazing Lassis ... they served us Mango Lassi & Mint Lassi ... both were super refreshing... definitely a must try drinks.

From desserts we had their Bombay falooda... very beautifully prepared, but lack in taste.

To sum it all, a recommendable place for all Indian food lovers like us.

If you have ever had a authentic maharashtra vada pav in your life then you will never be happy with any other vada pav. And for me its been so long since I was able to last visit Mumbai and have a vada pav feast????so I have been on a hunt for a good one and honestly after trying maybe millions ???? of vada pav from everywhere I finally found something that came close to not just filling my tummy! -
.
Though the other chat items can be a hit or miss. Their panic puri is never upto the mark and their bhel puri is not always on point with quality. There are days it is great and then there are days its bad. The last we got samosa chaat and we weren't happy with the taste that day. As we ardent eaters from chappan bhog we know they serve good food, but there have been days its not the best the least to say

Also a few days back ordered Bombay sandwich - was badly disappointed they literally put one whole boiled potato in it. You can view it in the pictures
