Just attended a graduation at the McEwen hall. An institution that stood the test of time. Assisting students to improve themselves with wisdom and experiences. Making the world a better place. Amazing and congratulations to each and every student that graced this space.

As a mother of a student and having paid a huge fee, thanks to Brexit, I want to denounce that the University has not given exam results since April, students are suffering the disastrous management of a strike. We chose this University for it's prestige. It's a façade, they are only interested in money.

After 4 difficult years my son should have been able to enjoy his graduation this week and look forward to the next step in his future but due to the greed of some and lack of fair treatment to staff he was given an empty scroll on his graduation day with no idea when he will recieve his final

Stay in their accommodations for the month of June on a study abroad trip. Every one of the flats at Fraser Court that our group of 20 + stayed in had mice. They are well aware of the problem, and did little to fix it.

Amazin city & buildings, that is the only good part, Edinburgh is one of the best and nicest cities in the world. But UoE:

- University of Edinburgh as institution is horrible, just a machine to make money and steal the money of international students that pay fortunes to come to Edinburgh. Local Scottish students, cannot afford to study or they are not accepted. As local students can study for free their first degree while the international students need to pay 3 times the real price to get into. An easy decision for them about who to choose, based on the revenue. Even if the students almost does not speak too much English, all is ok while you pay 4 times more.

- Old fashioned and dusty institution, where the money go to the pockets of only a few ones at the top, instead of investing in modernise the teaching methods, update installations and improve attention and condition for students and professors.

- There are always professor's strikes due to the poor salary conditions of the professors, so you will be lucky if you can finish your year.

- Lack of orientation for the students and compromised or caring tutors to help and follow their students progression.

- Lack of clarity in courses progression, admissions, you may get into the first year, approve all your assignments ready for the second year and get a not admission for the second years because lack of places. So you cannot finish your diploma.

- Prices; even 3 times higher that any other University (there are more Unis at Edinburgh like Herriot Watt, more modern and updated to the current world & reality)

That is the reality of Edinburgh Uni. And old glory, dusty and rusty money machine. If you want to be robbed, to have a deficient formation, and get a degree using money instead of brain, this is your University. Welcome.

Absolutely the worst University for student support!
Also how they are trying to hold staff to ransom over the marking boycott is shameful, with no thought on how this is impacting students life’s and wellbeing.

Oh my school... Prestigious. Beautiful... A very beautiful place for learning.. Ranks one of the best in the world.. Studying here is a dream come true for me. The conducive learning environment, the Edinburgh tourist attract, everything beautiful.
